Interlink Scaffolding Ltd, commonly referred to as ISL Scaffolding, was established in 2003 and rapidly developed into one of the largest scaffolding contractors in the North East of England, and also carries out projects nationwide. ISL are capable of providing scaffolding and associated temporary works to almost any market sector including housing, commercial building and civil engineering, industrial sites and rail infrastructure.

The employees of ISL have extensive experience and qualifications within the scaffolding industry, and are provided with training at every level from basic health and safety training, through trade specific CISRS scaffolding courses, CITB SSSTS supervisor courses and NEBOSH Health and Safety courses. The key people within ISL are as follows -

Managing Director - Darren Maratty, over 30 years experience in the scaffolding industry, in positions from scaffolder through to Director level, on various commercial and industrial projects nationwide. Primary responsibility within ISL for operational management, and Health and Safety.
Business Development Director - David Dale, over 25 years experience in the scaffolding industry, in positions from scaffolder through to Director level, on various commercial and industrial projects. Primary responsibility within ISL for marketing and estimating.
Director - Mark Eddy - over 20 years experience in the scaffolding industry, in administration, estimating and surveying positions, with experience of commercial, industrial and rail scaffolding projects. Primary responsibility within ISL for finance and administration.
Technical Director - Stephen Badger - over 40 years experience in the scaffolding and temporary works industry, with experience of commercial, industrial and rail scaffolding projects worldwide. Primary responsibility within ISL for engineering and design.

ISL specialise in using highly adaptable tube and fitting scaffold, and Layher system scaffolding including bridges, staircases and temporary roofing, from both our own stocks and through hire and sales agreements with a number of selected suppliers, providing for national coverage.

ISL carries out the design of scaffolding internally to meet the requirements of TG20:21, BS 5975 and BS EN 12811-1, and also has close links with a number of external design companies with specific experience of scaffolding to complete independent checks, 3D designs and provide additional design capacity.

 

Alternative temporary works solutions other than scaffolding can be provided where there is a benefit in terms of cost or program, including safety netting, roped access, powered access, falsework / formwork and custom designed and fabricated steelwork.
